Updated 1st Jul 2010  -  Turnover in the Speciality Finance sector companies monitored by Alert Data has decreased slightly over the past accounting year to £103.7bn with a 0.7% fall. Operating profits have declined 2% to £13.6bn.  Employee numbers have reduced by 3% to 643,304.  Longer term, the sector has experienced 96% decline in turnover over the last 3 years, and a 7% drop in employee numbers over the same period.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
