Updated 1st Jul 2010  -  Over the past accounting year, turnover in the Private Health Care & Voluntary sector companies monitored by Alert Data has grown slightly by 0.8% to £18.7bn. Profits have decreased by 1% to £1.1bn.  Employee numbers have risen by 3% to 831,028 in the same period.  The last 3 years have shown longer term turnover growth of 12% and an increase in employee numbers of 14%.  See UK Growth by Sector section for more detail.
